Tasting Notes: Mineral water, sweet, light, Carmel richness and sweetness.
Farm Location: Zhangping, China
Grown in the western part of the Fujian province by a family farm that specializes in Shu Xian. This winter roast sold out very quickly but luckily I was able to get a hold a a few to share with you guys! The cakes weight approximately 6.7-7g. Easy to brew and very forgiving to longer times and hotter temperatures without getting bitter yet still holding a classic Yan cha “cliff Tea” light astringency.
120ml - 200ml Gaiwan is the preferred vessel for these cakes.
