This tea practically has no recorded history because it's from a newly developed cultivar. This tea is less punchy than the benifuki. The sakura notes develop as the tea cool. This tea is an excellent example of "Hui Gan" – a.k.a. "Returning Sweetness." This is a sensation that lingers sip after sip, and is often described as producing a strong mouthfeel.
