Mi lan xiang (honey orchid aroma) is from a beautiful sub variety of oolong known as dancong. All varieties are grafted from the same mother plant but each variety is bred for its unique aroma and flavor with everything from fruity to floral to earthy there’s a lot to explore. This specific mi lan xiang comes from older bushes of this variety which is often viewed as more premium and matured teas than newer planted gardens.
