Tasting Notes: brisk minerality, smooth and sweet, salted butter, with floral overtones.
Farm Location: Zhangping, China
Grown in the western part of the Fujian province by a family farm that specializes in Shu Xian. Yet again, first of the year production sold fast. But, we made sure to grab some fresh cakes for you! The cakes weigh approximately 6.7-7g. Easy to brew and very forgiving to longer times and hotter temperatures without getting bitter, yet still holding a classic Yan Cha “cliff tea” light astringency.
120ml - 200ml gaiwan is the preferred vessel for these cakes.
