Alishan is one of Taiwan’s most famous areas for tea. The interesting twist to this tea is that it is a “red oolong”. Red oolong differs from Red or “black” tea in that it undergoes the fixation kill green stage rather than just being oxidized and dried. Usually very juicy and smooth.
