Jin guan yin is the baby of tieguanyin + huang jin gui cultivars. I like Jin guan yin’s floral character complimenting the roast because it provides a much different feel than the qi lan. Where qi lan is more roasty toasty Jin guan yin has a bit of that Greer floral/herb notes along with a medium roast making it a sort of “lighter” medium roast.
